Crafted from scratch, the hourglass features a protective dome-shaped glass shield that encapsulates a miniature replica of Deir el Qamar, preventing the sand from flowing into the village. As sand flows beside but not within the village, Luna Chronos represents Deir el Qamar's deliberate withdrawal from temporal constraints, preserving itself at the peak of its historical significance.
